Kane watched from the shadows as his ex girlfriend Krystal hung on the arm of his archenemy Triple H the WWE champion. He would be facing HHH at No Mercy in one week but that didn’t matter now.
‘There’s goes my old girlfriend’ Kane said softly his hazel eyes narrowing dangerously at the something her ring finger ‘There’s another diamond ring’
Kane stared instantly at it almost memorized by it and his blood started to boil. But his heart couldn’t follow his body and his heart broke instantly.
‘And all those late night promises’ Kane said to himself remembering them like flash of light ‘I guess they don’t mean a thing’
The heat of the moment they made promises to each other and they were spoken like soft caresses in the wind. Those kind of promises are never kept.

“So baby, what’s the story,” Kane asked while grabbing her by the arm and pulling her into empty “Did you find another man”
Krystal stared wide eyed at Kane and her breathing was even and steady almost calm.
“There’s no story Kane,” Krystal hissed out almost like being slapped across the face without her using her hands to do it “Yes I did”
“Is it easy to sleep in the bed that we made,” Kane said eying silently “When you don't look back I guess”
“Easy almost taking candy from a baby,” Krystal said almost laughing in his face “I have never looked back Kane never”
Kane’s heart broke into million pieces staring at the woman once stared his bed and love with. He couldn’t believe seeing the utter coldness and bitterness in both of her voice and eyes.
‘The feelings start to fade away’ Her heart cried out ‘I used to feel your fire but it’s cold inside’
“And you're back on the street,” Kane said to her opening and closing his gloved hand “Like you didn't miss a beat, yeah”
”Missed a beat,” Krystal said bitterly to him “More like a melody”

“Anything else,” Krystal said to him placing her hands on her hips
“No you go,” Kane said to her
Krystal walked right passed him and slammed the door. The wind from the door hit him more than his heart breaking.
‘Tell me what it takes to let you go’ Kane said to himself ‘Tell me how the pain’s supposed to go and tell me how it is that you can sleep’

“In the night, without thinkin’ you lost,” His words echoed through the quietness of the room “Everything that was good in your life”
His mind swam with things she might have said to him if he would asked her when he had the chance to.
“To the toss of a dice,” Kane said falling to his knees wiping “Tell me what it takes to let you go”

Kane thought for second as he stood his six foot ten frame and brushed away his wavy brown hair away from his mask.

“You spent me up like money,” Kane said vemously “Then you hung me out to dry”
The more he thought about how she used him made his rage grow and even he allow his rage flow through his body his heart couldn’t never hate for her.

Kane opened and walked out of the room. Everyone could see the rage within his hazel eyes and they stayed out of his way as he walked down the hallway.

Kane walked into his locker room and slammed the room.
“Tell me that you’re happy that you’re on your own,” Kane stated loudly
Kane smiled grimly in remembering how her eyes nearly darkened as she was being pulled into the room and how her body felt went burning hot. He pushed that image of her out of his mind and started to his mind on tonight.
‘Tell me that it’s better when you’re all alone’ Kane stated silently
Tell me that your body doesn't miss my touch

‘Tell me that your body doesn’t miss my touch’ He said silently ‘Tell me that my lovin’ didn’t mean that much’
He knew that she couldn’t or never say she state that. Say that her body didn’t miss his touch or love he gave her all these months and he smiled satifaction of that bitter sweet fact.
‘Tell me you ain’t dying’ Kane thought grimly as Helms entered the room to talk about their tag match ‘When you’re cryin’ for me’

After talking about their match Helms left Kane to prepare mentally for it and his mind would be on the match but his broken heart would be least where.
“Tell me who’s to blame for thinkin’ twice,” Kane said bitterly before grabbing the door handle of his locker room door “ ‘Cause I don’t wanna burn in Paradise”
I don't wanna burn....
Kane opened the door and walked out of his locker room readying himself to kick some butt in the ring. While his heart on the other hand would wonder about Krystal and she had to his heart.
“I don’t wanna burn,” Kane said softly while walking down the ring with crowd cheering their hearts for him and Helms who stood in the ring waiting for him.
